Four years on the University of Pittsburgh’s varsity swim team while maintaining a nearly perfect grade point average taught Julia to stay afloat -- a great attribute for a busy lawyer.
The ability to stay afloat enabled Julia to graduate cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Law while holding the position of Associate Editor of the School’s prestigious Journal of Health Care Law and Policy and, at the same time, serving the school as co-captain of its National Trial Team. Julia was also a member of the winning team at the Association of Trial Lawyers of America’s Washington D.C. 2006 Regional Competition.
And did we mention Julia is also a member of Phi Delta Phi, the nation’s oldest legal fraternity, established in 1869 to promote a higher standard of professional ethics? Obviously, Julia does far more than just stay afloat.
Okay. Julia was very busy and successful in law school, and that did not pass unnoticed by Judge Gale Rasin, who hired Julia to be her judicial clerk. Luckily, we got to Julia before she finished her clerkship, and -- with the Judge’s blessing and encouragement -- she’s swimming with us now.
