You could say Todd draws inspiration from his prior career. Before attending law school, he was an artist and graphic designer. Yep. You read right. Todd’s a professional graphic designer turned lawyer. Now, for better or worse, he’s one of us. But the law was in Todd’s blood long before he decided to come to the dark side. Todd’s grandfather proudly served the Eastern Shore and the State of Maryland for many years as Chief Judge of the First Judicial Circuit and as State’s Attorney for Worcester County.

Todd is a native of the delmarvalous Eastern Shore. Eventually, Todd made his way across the Bay to go to law school at the University of Baltimore.

Although he attended law school as an evening student while working full time at a Towson law firm, Todd still found time to serve as a staff editor and production editor on the University of Baltimore’s Intellectual Property Law Journal. Now Todd’s busy helping us. He’s Jim and Donna’s right hand man for the firm’s six-volume Law of Advertising treatise, published by Lexis-Nexis thank you very much. And when he’s not knee-deep in false advertising cases, he’s often helping Julie or Pete get to the bottom of a litigation research issue.

Todd is a member of the American Bar Association and the Intellectual Property Section of the Maryland State Bar Association. By the way, did we mention that he also designed the logo for the Maryland Lawyers for the Arts? Guess there’s an art to practicing law after all. Okay, we’ll stop there.
